Yard Work

Today, I walked out to my garden and pulled some weeds. I threw them over the fence and admired my work. I walked back in and washed my hands.

I got bored editing the tags on my other blog, so I went back and pulled weeds on the back of my garden, circling it a couple times. I probably did about three laps around my garden. Then I went back in and washed my hands.

Being proud of my results (and my workout), I brought Suzi out to see my handiwork. I saw a couple more weeds and pulled them, probably lapping the garden at least once more. I walked back in, and cleaned up yet again.

Let's see:
  • multiple laps around the garden
  • many reps of pulling weeds (minimal exertion with lots of reps builds endurance)
  • three down and backs to the garden (uphill both ways, at least that's what I'll tell my grandchildren, probably throwing something in about blowing snow, too)
Not my normal workout (but then again, what is my normal workout recently), but it will have to do for today.

Hi, Sally! ;-)
